Limited English Proficiency Plan
The Limited English Proficiency Plan (LEP) addresses a federal mandate that entities receiving federal funds must provide meaningful access to those who are not fluent in English without unduly burdening the fundamental mission of the organization. The GHMPO reaffirms its outreach commitment by providing public notices in both English and Spanish, contacting the local non-English speaking media, having an interpreter at public meetings and following procedures laid out in the LEP Plan. The most current version of the LEP can be found in Appendix G of the most recent Title VI Environmental Justice Analysis and Participation Plan.
