2024 GHMPO Crash Profile

An updated crash profile for the GHMPO planning area, which includes all of Hall County and the western portion of Jackson County, was created based on crash analysis provided by Numetric with data sourced from the Georgia Electronic Accident Reporting System (GEARS), an online crash data tool that has been developed by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). The information analyzed through this online tool pulled from crash related data that was collected between January 1 and December 31, 2024. Total number of crashes, injury crashes, fatality crashes, and crash hot spots are all highlighted in the following report:

 

Previous Crash Profiles

Previous crash reports were created for 2008, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Previously, the year listed on the title of the report was the year that the report was published, and not the year in which crashes are being analyzed. They are available in full below:
